How To Rearrange Songs On A Spotify Playlist (Easy Guide)
When it comes to rearranging songs in your Spotify playlist, the process is fairly easy and can be done within minutes. The goal is to set your playlist in a way that does not require any further tweaks and results in a seamless listening experience.
A well-organized Spotify playlist can make all the difference when you’re in the mood for some music. It just sets the tone for a great experience. But if your songs are out of order, things just don’t feel right.
It can be tough to know where to start, however, in this easy guide, I’ll teach you how to quickly and easily rearrange songs on your Spotify playlist.
The first step is to launch your Spotify app on your mobile device, desktop app, or web player. Sign in to your account if you haven’t already.
Once you’re signed in, choose the playlist you want to edit. You can find it on the left side of the screen as seen below.
There are two ways to rearrange your playlist. Either you drag the song to your desired order, or you sort it by category like the date added, or alphabetically based on the title or artist’s names.
You will be guided by a green bar as you drag the song to your desired order.
If you want to sort by category, simply click on the drop-down button beside the search bar and choose your desired option.
If you’re using a mobile phone, the instructions are technically the same. You just choose a playlist and drag the song to rearrange it. Sorting also works similarly on an iPad or tablet.
Rearranging your Spotify playlist is a straightforward process that takes mere minutes. Following the steps above, whether you’re using a phone, tablet, or computer, you can easily rearrange the songs in your Spotify playlist for a more smooth listening experience.
