It’s quite easy to update Spotify on your personal computer. It will only take you a few minutes, and the process is pretty much the same whether you’re using a Windows PC or a Mac.
After logging in your Spotify Account on your PC or Mac, check the top-right corner, right next to your profile for a blue dot. If there is a blue dot, then that means a Spotify update is available.
Click on your profile picture and a drop-down menu will appear. From the menu, you will see “Update Available. Restart Now” if an update is available. Click on it to initiate the update and Spotify will automatically shutdown and restart.
