Stage Input List Builder
Give the sound engineer a clear channel plan. Edit each row, arrange the running order and take a copy to the venue.
Secure. Data stays in your browserChannel numbers follow the row order. Use the arrow buttons to move a channel. Up to 64 channels.
How to prepare a stage input list
An input list connects each sound source to a numbered mixer channel. Write a clear source name, such as lead vocal or bass DI, and add your preferred microphone or direct box when relevant. Keep stereo sources on two separate rows so every physical input has a channel.
Send the list to the venue before the show and confirm any equipment requests with the engineer. Mark phantom power only when the connected equipment needs it, and check the device instructions before applying it. Use the notes for stands, player names or other practical details.
Using the Stage Input List Builder
Make a stage input list that tells the engineer what connects to each channel. Keep names clear enough to understand without knowing your band's own shorthand.
Instructions
- Enter Show / artist, then edit each channel's source, microphone or DI information and notes.
- Use Add channel for another input. Move rows with the arrows so the numbering matches your intended patch order.
- Click Download CSV or Print input list. The print button opens a separate view with a Print / save PDF button.
Checking the channel plan
A stereo keyboard normally needs two input rows, one for each side. Numbering follows the current row order, so check it again after moving a source. Mark phantom power only where the connected equipment actually needs it.
What to do if the list is unclear or will not print
- Give repeated sources distinct labels, such as Vocal 1 and Vocal 2, and include stand or player details in the notes.
- Allow the printable pop-up if your browser blocks it. Download CSV is another way to keep the plan.
- If Add channel is unavailable, check the 64-channel limit and remove unused rows.
Send the list to the venue before the show and confirm equipment requests. This list records your plan; it does not check whether the venue has the requested microphones or connections.
