Reaper DAW Free Until June 2020

Reaper, the popular DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), is now available for free until June 2020.

They have noted on their website: “If you are working remotely and/or social distancing and would like to use REAPER at home, you can download a temporary REAPER license.”

You can get a temporary licence key on their website here.

The license currently says “This is a temporary license key valid through the end of June 2020, offered to those working remotely and/or
social distancing who want to use REAPER from home.”

If you haven’t had the money to download this DAW, then it’s a great option to get started.

Reaper is usually available at the following prices, depending on how you use it. Reaper is often talked of as a Free DAW, which is not true.

$60 : discounted license.
$225 : commercial license.

If you’re bored at home then this is a great chance to start making some music. You have absolutely nothing holding you back.

All you need is a set of speakers or earphones to get you started.

If you don’t have an audio interface to start with then that’s fine. If you’re using Windows then make sure to download Asio4All as this is a much better driver than the native Windows one.
