Bought this for traveling. Sounds great. I use it with headphones or connect it to a small amp (acts as a buffer and multieffects pedal). Only thing i didnt like was the knobs are hard to see on a side jack guitar. Once you get used to doing it by feel its fine.

Yeah. It's marketed as a headphone amp. but ya know what? I have been using it to record demos! I have been plugging this into the end of my pedal line and going into a cassette 4 track or DAW and the sound is AMAZING! Just get the gain and volume dialed in right and no need to mess around with mic placement and a cranked amp bothering my wife when she is trying to watch TV upstairs. Heck- I could record tracks in the dining room if I really wanted to. I have been thinking about using a monitor speaker out of an aux channel to get feedback effects but this is just a thought now.

ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED!

This thing is fantastic. Has gain control for distortion. More volume than anyone would ever need and effects also. Love it.

Like the amp I just reviewed, I had purchased this in 2019, but since my main rigs are the Marshall DSL40 and Spark Amp, I simply forgot about it. I saw a writeup for the Brian May Amplug and remembered I had this AC30 Amplug. So, I put it on my desk, plugged in my wireless system and remembered why I bought this little gem! Combined with the little VOX Amp, it is really fun to play around with. Lots of different sounds from which to choose, and you can go clean or dirty with a tweak of the gain and volume knobs. I've been having fun with it for the past three days and I think that is the key - HAVING FUN!!! I'm using it while sitting around in my "office" and it's a good break from the acoustic guitar. I highly recommend this little beauty and I am certain anyone who gets one will enjoy it at least as much as I do. In fact, I am so intrigued by the Brian May Amplug (Queen fanatic that I am), I'm going to get one of those, too!

Sounds great through my headphones. Added plus, I put my AirPods under the headphones to listen to songs and jam along. All the while the house only hears the sounds of an unamplified electric guitar. Tons of fun and great sound.
