This pickup provides you with your choice of two unique, selectable voices. Revel in the tight bass, crisp highs, and subtle growl supplied by the Fluence's modern active pickup voice. Or if you're feeling a bit gnarly, this pickup's high-output humbucker voice is tailor-made for distortion. The guitarists at Sweetwater are impressed by the range of sounds that can be milked out of the C-1 SLS FR S Evil Twin.

Best service anywhere

Thanks to AJ Becarra for the top notch service and hospitality. This is top quality folks!!! I received my Schecter C-1 FR S Evil Twin and was blown away with the quality of Schecter guitars. The slim but long scale neck makes this guitar so easy to play and reach the upper octaves. The sustainiac pickup will scream at very faint volume. Freaking nice!!! I had no idea what I was missing out on. This is now my main guitar out of 44 customs. You can do so much with this guitar. Gotta getcha' one!!!

Schecter Guitars are AMAZING!!!

Unbelievable, never did I think I would be able to own such a nice guitar, the design on this guitar is amazing. With the Sustainiac PU you can get some really cool wailing tones to get that awesome intro sound to the best of Metal music, this is a lead guitarists dream kind of guitar. It was amazing that the guitar came perfectly in tune out of the box and ready to play, the low action is like butter with 0 fret buzz. I can't wait to buy my next guitar from Sweetwater.

Best Guitar i have ever owned.

Since i got this guitar i literally have not stopped playing. It's been almost 20 years since i played. This is a well crafted guitar. Ben and his staff did a great job. Guitar was shipped just as the Virus hit the U.S. it took awhile. But it arrived in perfect condition. The setup is perfect the did a great inspection and setup. The sustainiac pickup works great it's unique and really fun to mess around with. It sounds incredible the pickups are crystal clear and sound is tight. I would definitely reccomend buying this guitar and i reccomend buying from sweetwater. Also i did follow the instructions and waited the 24hours before opening I've never heard of this before but it makes sense to me. So when i took it out i had no problems with anything ty for the advice. Ty

High quality instrument

My first schecter and kudos to Mike Brandt for suggesting it was the one I was going to like because I was going for something else. Anyways I own a Ibanez Premium from the time that there was no Prestige line and compared to this, I don't know it's hard to take sides but the ultra thin neck on this schecter, the smooth fretboard and nicely polished frets I mean this is a really nice quality instrument. First thing I did was to lower the action because personal preference and I tuned it lower because that's how I roll. I played it for a couple of weeks without the locking nut and it stays in tune with just the tuners, even using (lightly) the tremolo bar and I put them back a couple of days back. The wood detail on the back is really nice and overall it's a beautiful instrument. The schecters I've played in the past had thicker neck and maybe that's the reason I never got one but now that I own this one surely there's a high probability that I get another in the future.

I'm a person that prefers giving negative feedback and low stars and I always read the bad reviews first because 5 stars are usually you know, new toy syndrome (by the way I got mine in February). I don't know it's likely my ibanez premium has better wood and the clear paint you can see the wood and the fret board has really nice binding. But this schecter has beautiful wood as well (in the back though) but looks really metal in black and I'd say the polishing of the fret board wood is superior which I love because it feels really smooth. Frets are shiny polished. If you have small hands you want this guitar.

For background I own Ibanez RG premium (no prestige era), ibanez artist (pre lawsuit), ibanez iron label (covid), Jackson dinky revers, Jackson King V, Strat, nylon string yamaha ncx3.

Amazing

I bought this Bass around 6 months ago and I've played 20 plus shows with it and it is by far the best bass I've ever had. I use a pick and fingers and occasionally slap and it responds well to all 3 styles. I play mostly covers so I needed a bass that could blend in with or stand out as the songs need. This Bass adapts wonderfully just a slight turn of a knob and I have a full thunderous sound . A small turn back and the highs pop . We use in ear system and it sounds great also sounds great at practice with my Bugera amp or at home with my 410 x 15 stack thundering loud . It plays like butter. It's made it much easier to play some of the harder songs and I swear it's made me faster . Just a joy to play .
